FINALLY!! After having to cancel and reschedule
and cancel the last few tournaments we finally got one in today and
what a day it was. The weather couldn't have been any better --
clear sky's, a mild breeze and no rain!
We meet at Jaycee Park on Ft. Pierce at 6:30am and the
Teen's were more than ready to fish. After handing out the fish
list they got their boat assignments and they left the docks at
6:45am. We had 12 Teen Anglers fishing and between them they
brought back 16 fish to be weighed.
Shane Surrency and Branson Troska were fishing
on the boat with Shane's dad. Shane caught 2
mangrove snapper and a sheepshead. This was Branson's 1st
tournament and he also caught a sheepshead. Connor Beert and
Tyler Moyher were fishing on Connor's dad's boat. Connor
caught fish but nothing on the fish list. Tyler caught 1
mangrove snapper and a sandperch. Taylor Meding was
fishing on her dad's boat. They caught and released 4
snook -- but again nothing on the fish list. Helen Kinchen
was fishing on her dad's boat and she caught 2 mangrove
snapper. Austin Doyle and Justin Roe were fishing on Austin's
uncle's boat. Austin caught 2 spanish mackerel and a
sandperch. Justin caught 2 sheepshead. Maxwell
Higgins went on volunteer Bob Bergen's boat. Maxwell
caught fish but nothing on the list. Tyler Serio went out
with volunteer Capt. Mark Dravo. Tyler caught a
few ladyfish and jacks but nothing on the list. Kalib
Guettler was on volunteer Capt. Joe Ward's boat.
